				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Unfortunately, many fertility doctors disagree about the impact of mycoplasma on fertility. Mycoplasma and ureaplasma are often found in fertile couples &#8212; not just those struggling with infertility.</p>
<p>Some researchers think these bacteria play a role in infertility and miscarriage, but it remains unclear how or why it may impact some people but not others.</p>
<p>I used to do the test, but couldn’t see any difference in outcomes, and found that the mycoplasma treatments went on too long and can only be treated with a few antibiotics&#8230;so I stopped.</p>
<p>However, researchers are still studying what mycoplasma and ureaplasma mean for your reproductive health. So if your doctors are concerned, they aren&#8217;t alone in that regard.</p>
